Devils Do SingA Poem by Zenny JonesDark Poetry
Devils Do Sing
As dolor passions
Are felt,
Of lust and love,
Dripping petals of rose…
Their aromas to cherish,
Amidst angels and heresy
Their blood-
Blushing lips.
Two blind eyes-
Gaze upon you
Sensations of velvet
You feel on your tongue,
Hushing vespers of lucidity.
The sweetness of sunsets,
As dusk laden skies
Lay, twilight horizons
Of gushing ecstasy,
Drowning out the black.
The darkness…
Cozening so dastardly
As vertigo shines,
Flowing squalls
Of crushing sarcasm
Engulf you.
Hedonous love
Romancing your soul,
Promises kept…
But you don’t remember,
Betwixt the incognito
Splendor,
Devils do sing,
A shining gloss
Of envious sheen,
Emitting scarlet silhouettes,
Tranquil and serene,
Arousing you,
A subtle fire within.
