Most Days

Most Days

A Poem by Tyler Mobley
"

I hope this doesn't bring you down. Be LOVE

"
I left the coffee in the pot, couldn't be bothered quite frankly.  Nothing better to do, simply lost interest all together.  For everything, eyes darting around the room, chasing the bird that isn't there.  Washed out, drained, life depleted.  Again I couldn't be bothered to answer the phone when it rang.  Now I was busy, I was getting somewhere, I had a good train of thought going, it was pleasing.  Eyes darting around the room, chasing the fly that isn't there.  It passed, broken, interrupted, no energy or desire to get it back, it wasn't much to begin with.  Lets get to the end already, the way these minutes go by, I'll be lucky if I get to the weekend.  Eyes darting around the room, chasing the life that isn't there.  One time I'll go out, I better put on some coffee.
