Make The World Laugh

Make The World Laugh

A Poem by Mallory N. Young
"

Can anyone guess who this poem is about? :)

"
As a weekend anchor
hunting for a gopher on a golf course
and strange ghosts in our neighborhoods,
you were born to make the world laugh.

As a slacker creating havoc at Fort Arnold,
being a Scrooge with the past, present and future,
to continuously waking up on Groundhog Day,
you were born to make the world laugh.

As a professional kingpin bowler,
playing for the Tune Squad
and being larger than life while riding an elephant,
you were born to make the world laugh.

As a person lost in translation,
pretending to be a zombie
and became a famous lazy orange cat,
you were born to make the world laugh.

Bill Murray, of course! :)

That's a nice journey of remembrances you've written through the movie life of a wonderful, wonderful actor.

"Lost In Translation" is high on my list of very favorite movies. Cool.

OK, on the topic of wonderful "lost" movies, I just saw this one and loved it: "Lost In Beijing". Can't recommend that movie enough.
