Birthdays

A Poem by Mallory N. Young
"

This isn't my best but I hope everyone else does.

"
Wake up in the morning
on your birthday.
It's all your own
and you're royalty for a day.
Look outside and notice
Nature celebrating with you.
Rain or shine
it's all beautiful,
even raindrops shine like crystals
falling to the ground.
Put on your crown
and throw on a smile.
It's time for gifts and cake.
Nothing can go wrong today.
