Rebellion.

Rebellion.

A Poem by Melekije

King of the castle you stand proud and tall,

Thinking you are so high mighty,

Your arrogance will one day make you fall.

Your commands are fierce,

Yet uncertainty is hidden in your voice

I’m formulating a plan you subliminally forced upon me,

Not by choice.

You want to protect

However your methods are wrong.

King of the castle,

Surely not where you belong.

How can your heart be as cold as winter ice,

Yet your voice burns like hells darkest fires

Greed and power is all your heart desires.

To the outside world you mean nothing,

That’s why to your throne you must remain king.

I plan on leaving this crooked kingdom of yours,

Leave everything behind me all while locking the doors.

And when I come back be sure I will knock you down,

Laugh in your face and break that worthless crown.

You say, I am a princess,

A title that does not fit

Fore you treated me none other than a dirty servant.

Mark my words,

You will always remember my joy filled day.

Maybe then you'll realize you drove your own daughter away.
