Bonnie and Clyde have nothing on us.

Bonnie and Clyde have nothing on us.

A Poem by Melekije

There’s a getaway car our front and I think its waiting,

The engine is started and all we have to do is get in.

The gas pedal is calling the right foot

The eyes are dreaming of gazing into that rear view.

There’s a getaway car out front and I reckon we get in,

The coppers are going to be here in minutes,

The road will be long and probably not easy,

However this moment will always please me,

There’s no turning back now we got so far

Let see what’s really out there and ditch the car,

Hold my hand and I’ll lead the way,

Though the darkest of nights and brightest of days,

Remember what you fought for and how far you got

When the days run cold and tempers run hot

There’s something that makes all that go away

The hope for sunshine on a brand new day
