An AfternoonA Poem by mnicorataSomething I came up with sitting on my porch in the afternoon.Tick tock on
noonday Buzzed sounds
upon grass Fields of
sunshine dazzling Rows of common
folk All lives
rolled in one Down in this
paradise We call it home A solemn refuge
Sunlight
piercing away Rolling out the
plains All lined this
path The weight of
life here And it all
plays out Strolling into
the noonday 8/7/2024 © 2024 mnicorata |
