An Afternoon

An Afternoon

A Poem by mnicorata
"

Something I came up with sitting on my porch in the afternoon.

"

Tick tock on noonday

Buzzed sounds upon grass

Fields of sunshine dazzling

Rows of common folk

All lives rolled in one

Down in this paradise

We call it home

A solemn refuge

Sunlight piercing away

Rolling out the plains

All lined this path

The weight of life here

And it all plays out

Strolling into the noonday
