Spring's Arrival

Spring's Arrival

A Poem by mnicorata
"

Something I wrote a while back about nature with a fantastical twists to it.

"
As the lands graze of misty spring
You can hear a bird or two sing
Through the everglades of trees lazily swaying
We can hear the maker frantically pacing

In dire need of a call to might
We pray humbly all the way to night
Sitting underneath a porch so tall
At bottoms end we do not fall

Hearing the steps of an ogre not too far
We can keep on scratching that itchy scar
Then off into the wilderness he goes
Where he stops no one ever knows

Keeping an eye on those who watch
Swaying the legs that barely touch
Waters flowing by softly touching the land
Here is the beginning so lets lend a hand

A hand to grab what seems to be right
And we know we can go towards the light
At the end of the tunnel a breeze is all I need
Staring at the horizon, the scenery is all of our feed
