One Last Embrace

This is something I wrote based on someone who has touched my heart so much, I cannot help but to write something about her about how much I care and she doesn't even know. For Shiri.

She had been the kind

That sparked in me fire

A pleasant nice dream

Aching in all her desire

One moment she spoke

The next walked away

Never giving a reason

Why she left that day

No one knew or cared

How and why she left

Still holding to thought

That ache made me upset

She burned this candle

That begs for her more

For some strange reason

I still feel her at my door

Knowing that she sees

But does not say a thing

Don’t know why not

I shake over that sting

If some place or not

I get to hear her again

I would love to ask

My one special friend

Why did you leave

Not even saying goodbye

Not even a warning

My heart breaks and cries
