Withering

Withering

A Poem by mnicorata
"

Something I wrote describing what it feels like being alone.

"

Weakness enters into the realm

As I die slowly within the hollow

Tired footsteps grace the plain

A million teardrops fall in gallows

Then a knock bewilders me now

As I move on these broken feet

Little do I pass inside the brush

Everything else feels all weak

And I try with might to stand

Endlessly taking on the mast

Bones to crack as I try to walk

The aching pain seeming to last

Cycles appear along the road

Circling always in violent strides

The weight I carry stricken me

Whence it came to be so wide

The feet come in across to slug

Upon the trip around the block

Ticking the timeframe set into

Opus killing time bomb to rock

Then I feel a wave of dying despair

Trying lungs grasping for the air

And hiding in and among the fair

Thoughts of chaos becoming bare

Well penned and expressed!
This piece definitely gets the alone factor across,
I can relate with much of these words:(
Hang in there the storm will pass and the rainbow
will shine:) Thanks for sharing and b-blessed!
