Unexplained

Based on an intense dream I had recently.

I have tasted of the hell

And bathed in its bath

Tormented by the spirits

Feeling all of its wrath

Promised to be a savior

To do what was right

Told I was to endeavor

Giving up all the light

Some who had guided me

Helped me to restrain

Resolving the ending past

To do so what to gain

Then I saw the furnace

Screech up on all sides

Blades stretching outward

To damn myself of pride

Two flawless ones entered

To pick me up in mass

Pushing away devilish visions

To save me from the lash

Still feeling the rotting burn

Things I would not say

Praying that I would awake

And invite the coming day

So those all who dabble

Into the fevered unknown

Realize divine intervention

To make sure you’re not alone
