The Mock Laughing Truth

A poem describing the worldly truth about how the way things are.

The cancer that separates us
Has not been forgotten my friend
We can dance forever in eternity
Until the world comes to an end

And through the rays of sunlight
The different phases of the moon
We can come together as one
Striking those who never knew

Fighting against the strength of many
That try to get into our way
Battling the ancient people prancing
So we can turn the dusk to day

We can humble at the mercy
Of all of the forgotten men
We can tumble at the sights
Of all these ending trends

Stumbling through the darkness
That consumes all the liars
We can rumble in our victory
And watch the distant fire

For those who see the future
For what it truly is
Turn to those who bring love
So we can bathe in bliss

Do not worry about the flames
That spark the background noise
Do not fret over the asunder
Ones who preach give them voice

And we can ride until the morning
As we shuffle down the road
Taking everything that was for granted
A book that is always told

So come in all you who wander
Into the setting sun
For all those who feel baffled
We have the strength to run

You can feel a narrator plot in the lines...the way this goes about in the lines...I see this has 9 stanzas as compared to the other two I just read of your work...has a vivid tone and the actions of the words are said aloud as if on a stage presented to an audience...I do see a change in the last stanza:
