An inspirational poem I wrote explaining my situation surrounding my life.

"
Of all this deranged madness
I see no beacon of light ahead
Of all this serene sadness
I can feel all the constant dread

When things come into focus
Even just for a while
Putting on my fevered mask
Subduing serene smiles

Thinking I will wait for the pitch
Never waiting for much
Coming across the musky river
Looking for the touch

Feeling like I do not belong here
Knowing there is more
Damning all the foreign pills
Swallowing barren shores

They try to keep me down
While I choose to fly
They try to subdue the man
Fading out when I try

Then comes the haunting whisper
Cracking the hard shell
Abilities used for succumbing ends
Disabling the crooked spell

I fight the good fight everyday
Shoving down the boat
I choose to not crumble down
Refusing sink, staying afloat

But then the innards speak loud
Lifting up the spark
I will throw away the madness
So I will not come apart

Again...like the first one I read...this has a personal touch in the write...the words add the striking nature of the author and expressive in the way they cut like a knife in the wholeness of this work...the voice is present and echoes quite well...
