Blind

Blind

A Poem by mnicorata
"

Something I wrote from the heart about a person that makes me sad constantly.

"
So this cold spreads deep within
As I start to state my case
Startling eyes growing ever dim
Beginning to subtly displace

Your nerves grew so damn tense
When I set my eyes aflame
A questioning man too distraught
That they always seem to tame

A game pattern set into motion
While I start prancing lightly
Then your face turned to grimace
My eyes glancing so brightly

Why I tend to feed the fire
People never seem to know
Prying into the endless waters
I will never stop the flow

Reasoning sets within your mind
Thinking that I cannot see
How much your soul keeps dying
When I choose to just be

Be the kind of person you taught
The one you so humbly raised
Perceived with the stare you hold
Just when I choose to behave

So when I decide to state my own
I can feel nothing but remorse
Choosing to battle to the very end
A fool that has joined the course

When you decide to see my way
I will allow you to just be
The person you were meant to live
Through blind eyes meant to see

This has every aspect of a push and pull between two conflicting persons...that is stated in the lines with a resonating tone...and snaps the tug of war in the rope...just as this piece comes to a closure...again the measure is represented...
