Hopefully Hardened

Hopefully Hardened

A Poem by mnicorata
"

A personal poem I wrote about my personal beliefs.

"
The work inside of me
How doubtful it can be
When all else fails at this
By the faith in itself

The man deep in the skin
So feverish he might be
When everything turns around
By the faith in no self

Faith is just a word objectively
Grace might be the inheritance
When all else seems to fail
We are thrown out by decadence

To be weary of the divine
To drink no more of wine
And through the works I see none
As we come along across the sun

Once more we can stare down
The cattle running amok at dawn
Reaching for the heavens in this
Cause we are not too far gone

There can be faith in hope
And there might be in love
When all else fails here
Searching eternity as in above

That has a deeper motive in the lines...the finding of self and the belief of being is said with only 6 stanzas and reflects much for us to grasp in a short order of the understanding going through your mind with this work...
