The Glare (part VI of the Glare)

The Glare (part VI of the Glare)

A Poem by mnicorata
"

The journey must come to an end.

"
In the lands of windows and walls
I can see the Glare coming forward
Outside the cave of solitude confinement
It is something I must walk towards

Leaving behind the strumming tune
And awaiting something brand new
To embark upon a glamorous noon
It is something that I already knew

The Glare was something that was always there
Discussing with myself inside a shined mirror
It is something that we all must share
It had been there all along sitting in a chair

Glowing embers above my wavy head
Flowing past me quickly but stern
Something has graced across my fingers
So badly inside but still not a burn

To inspire the uninspired
Makes me important, not sad nor tired
The things that need to be tossed in the fire
I must abandon the wicked liar

Far from beyond the caves of silence
I gaze upon the world of lands
While I sit here and type out
With graceful yet delicate hands

The dream I had always known
Was to be here in my home
And yet something keeps me awake
My writings were the Glare of my own
