The Seeker (part II of the Glare)

The Seeker (part II of the Glare)

A Poem by mnicorata
"

The second part of the adventure.

"
Within the caves of time stands a man
Who seeks his own fortune and gold
Little does he know and numbly understand
That in his body something must unfold

The glitter of a distant beacon awaits him
Beckoning towards a bright fluorescent light
Much of his desire and his fortune
Is within the depths of himself without fright

Shingled and observed this forbidden beacon
Stands before him just as he was told
No destruction lies within his way
He humbly searches for his own goal

In the darkness of the night the clouds part
The man standing by himself with power
As the challenge arises him to never depart
He awaits this increasing wonder

A tad of glistening armaments he watches
Which told him to lead on his way
So he makes his final stand on a rock
Calling out to Him “Grant me your precious day”

The clouds decide to part
The bell does not chime
For what he was truly looking for
Was within him all this time
