Sinking in the Sound

Sinking in the Sound

A Poem by mnicorata
"

A spiritual poem about letting go.

"
Walking down a narrow pathway
I can see the world on all sides
Temptation is not the key I want to believe
So I try to let my burdens die inside

I know it does not feel like me
And maybe I will turn out just fine
But I hang in there day after day
Trying hard to put up with time

If it were up to me I would wander
See all the wonders of the world
Soaking up all its glory and mysteries
As if they were all gems in a pearl

I know it would not make sense to all
So I would keep things inside of me
Letting my pride flow gently in the wind
If I let grudges go, my soul would be free
