What I See

What I See

A Poem by mnicorata
"

This is what I envision the world the way I see it.

"
I see the world turning
Dipping on its axis
I see the world spinning
The world collapses
I see the world crying
As in some sad song
I see the world dying
I knew it all along

I see that life is spilling
Onto cobble stone
I see the grasses turning brown
Beneath troubled homes
I see the trees whisper
Ancient tunes of old
I see children crying for answer
Beneath the stories untold

I see the fern is on fire
For the song dies within
I see the eyes of many
For they are bathed in sin
I see that life is withering
Years long gone away
I see that life has meaning
As we pray for another day
