Sweet Serenity

Sweet Serenity

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney
"

***WIND***

"

Sweet Serinity

Breath of life,

now consume me.

I come,

to make amend.

I see,

 the smells aside me.

My dear,

 and blessed friend.

Hear,

the colors around me.

 Soul,

 captured completely.

This Grand,

blessed sea of trees.

 Leaves,

 speak to me softly.

 The earth,

 slowly becomes me.

Oh,

sweet serenity.

 Oh my,

 Sweet serenity.

 Truly,

blessed within thee

Wonderful write Melody...and though I don't usually follow instructions...I did as you asked and reread it with the music as background. A true meditational/yoga experience... I truly felt serene and at ease with the world...and boy can I ever use peace at this time...very soulful and heartfelt write Melody. rhythmic and ethereral...oozing with beautiful images.

This was astonishingly beautiful. It actually took me back a moment to a time when everything didn't seem so bleak. I enjoyed reading this very much. I am glad you shared.

When we realize that the simple pleasures of life like the love of friends and family are the keys to happiness we can find peace within our souls. Lovely poem.
