I have been through so much in the span of my life

Yet my soul fights for peace and I still shun your strife

 

Pleasure seems to be what this world craves the most

 Each step closer to devastation and they’re the host

 

Giving way to my soul I embrace what must be…

…serenity

Calming the storm inside of me,

 letting go of what binds me

 

A moment covered in earth or surrounded by the sea

This is my portal to release burdens and find serenity

 

Every molecule of our being is a part of everything

Yet trapped in this society brings a truly fatal sting

 

Let go of such simple things that become oh so complex

Release yourself form greed’s inhumanly  deadly hex
