Vibrancy of life

Vibrancy of life

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney
"

I write to free my soul from words without me, go unspoken. I write to make you think, thoughts you already know.

"

serenity1

Vibrancy of life, felt by all around

Rooted and steady, deep within the ground

I move slowly and speak the same

Every moment counts, this is not a game.

My heart overwhelmed, by all I have seen

Souls; starving, weakened, forgotten and lean.

Do we understand who we are?

Surly not, we’ve fallen so far!

Who still listens to their soul, you?

It will tell who you are and what to do.

I for one understand,

I am more than who I am.

In silence listen, with strength speak

Ignorance of soul makes one weak.

So set aside earth bound cares

Step out of yourself, take the dares.

This life is short, too short to waste

Make a difference, in boldness and haste.

~Melody

This has a zen quality to it. It makes us think of the universe and the vastness of it. It reminds us that we have a soul in there trying to guide us and keep us on the path of enlightenment. This has a great depth to it and it makes the mind and heart react together.

Fabbo! This one left me with a feeling of meditative completeness. Like nothing needs to be said. Just this Zen like calm, which is the third ear open to the sound of the soul. No seperation between hearer and sound.

so pretty and so true. Don't imprison yourself in human greed for material things when you should be giving more thought to who you, and others are inside and what you must do.
