I Love You..A Poem From My Daughter to Me....

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney
"

This poem is from my daughter Victoria (aka) V.J.C. I will cherish this always as it is now written on the walls of my soul. I am more proud of her, than she will ever be of me!

I LOVE YOU

Life so fragile,

you make it worth the while.

The smile on your face,

brightens my day.

Never asking much,

Giving without a thought.

Did I ever tell you,

I love you?

Firm grasp,

Gently guiding.

Understanding beyond your years,

Wisdom of gold!

Did I ever tell you,

I Love You?

Carrying such heavy burdens,

No complaint pass your lips.

Embracing the nearness of you,

Emotions unfold.

Light you share,

In my darkest of hours.

I’m sorry for,

All the wrong things I have done.

Did I ever tell you,

I Love You!!!

I dedicated the song to my daughter Victoria, She is my butterfly! I love you and am so proud of you, no matter how high the mountain...you always reach the top!
I am so proud of who you have become Victoria!

Now THAT'S worth a whole bunch of love points from mom. It's wonderful when our children reach the point where they can thank us for our efforts, maybe while minimizing our own weaknesses and mistakes. Conveying love and appreciation is the finest use of communication or poetry.

My mother's heart understands what I cannot express well enough to review this. All I can say is "what a priceless, enduring treasure". I, too, have a butterfly.

lol...I like that!
Yes, counting our blessings. Very important. Cherish what we have. Its the source of great joy. We are surrounded by so many reasons to be happy if we only count them. Great reminder. Theres nothing like it when your child turns around and says I love you. The heart melts and you float around like a stoned sheep for the rest of the day. Little things like that make it all so worthwhile.

Wow, this is really so touching and special. The poem is beautiful and a blessing to read, an affectionate expression of love from daughter to mother. Enjoyed reading it very much and the photo is lovely too.

How sweet it is to hear that a lovely daughter writes to her mother:
"I’m sorry for,

All the wrong things I have done.

Did I ever tell you,

I Love You!!!"
I must say Victoria's upbringing was perfect and she always enjoyed the affection and love of Melody.Today,I am very pleased to see that Victoria acknowledges her gratefulness to her mom.
Sometimes,we as parents might have done some wrongs. In that case we may also say sorry. This may enhance the bondage between the parents and the children.
I request you to kindly convey my love to your talented daughter.
I hope she will shine brightly and will secure a prestigious position in her life.
