I Love You..A Poem From My Daughter to Me....
A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney
This poem is from my daughter Victoria (aka) V.J.C. I will cherish this always as it is now written on the walls of my soul. I am more proud of her, than she will ever be of me!
I LOVE YOU
Life so fragile,
you make it worth the while.
The smile on your face,
brightens my day.
Never asking much,
Giving without a thought.
Did I ever tell you,
I love you?
Firm grasp,
Gently guiding.
Understanding beyond your years,
Wisdom of gold!
Did I ever tell you,
I Love You?
Carrying such heavy burdens,
No complaint pass your lips.
Embracing the nearness of you,
Emotions unfold.
Light you share,
In my darkest of hours.
I’m sorry for,
All the wrong things I have done.
Did I ever tell you,
I Love You!!!

I dedicated the song to my daughter Victoria, She is my butterfly! I love you and am so proud of you, no matter how high the mountain...you always reach the top!
I am so proud of who you have become Victoria!

Now THAT'S worth a whole bunch of love points from mom. It's wonderful when our children reach the point where they can thank us for our efforts, maybe while minimizing our own weaknesses and mistakes. Conveying love and appreciation is the finest use of communication or poetry.
