Why Do Thing Happen to Us?

Why Do Thing Happen to Us?

A Chapter by Kimberly "Melody" Carney

Many of us wonder why things happen to us. Is it karma, God or just a strange coincidence? I say it is a precise woven combination of all.
A web made up of all our destinies, each single person’s destiny touching and affecting the other. Imagine a puzzle the size of the United States. Each piece of the puzzle is a person, each shaped different than the next. We are born with this desire to find our place in this world as well as to fit in. Sometimes we may be born all the way down in the left hand corner of this puzzle, yet our place in this puzzle is in the top right hand corner. A series of events will line up during the course of our life to get us to our final resting place. Each move not only brings us closer to the correct place, but also is affecting and moving others.
Sometimes we fall in love and think…alas I have found it. Over time we realize that although it may have seemed perfect, in all honesty we were desperately trying to make something fit that didn’t belong. Was it a mistake? NO! Everything is moving us to our place and everyone we meet as well. When we find the one that will be beside us till the end, our piece just falls so effortlessly into place.

Some people seem to have it so easy. Everything seems to go right from the start! Well they are but a corner or side piece, the first ones to find there place. I am grateful for them, this makes it easier to get going, and without them this would be so much harder. Some of us have oh so very very difficult lives! It seems as if we will never ever get it right as if we a doomed till the end. Breathe and accept that you are a middle piece. Keep one thing in mind, without you…the puzzle is worthless!
