The Gift of Thought.

The Gift of Thought.

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney

Bestow unto me, what you will.

The gift shall be reversed.

I shall remain grounded and still.

Blindness of self, a curse.

Life's a dance, your smile is the zill.

Last step, shadow of first.

Try kindness out, just for the thrill

Actions speak, words rehearsed.

Karma is sweet or a bitter pill.

Left with, what you put first!

~Melody

This poem was written for us that love the magic of understanding.
Everything in life has two sides, two proposes.
It is not all about you or me
Life is a puzzle we are but a piece
Each intricately intertwined destinies

What comes around goes around love...
I'm a believer of Karma, since I was 10 years old,
My Indonesian Grand mom learned me to stand up in
This bad world, Always do good, and you shall receive good.

Nice you have put the law in a poem, but honestly, things like this
by the true knowers, shouldn't be spread... it's just not a win-win situation
Because than it turns bad...
It shall be Karma when it's invisible.

Nothing on your poem, I loved it.
Your words an A+ Your insight too.

Can't help but love Karma. It keeps you grounded. But this poem gives you a lift clean off your feet. I've read quite a few 'Karma' poems that deal with the negativity it can generate as a backlash, but this one lifts your soul. Superb job, with such a subtle rhyme and flow, you don't realise you are reading a poem until five minutes later. A wonderful job.
