A magical World

A magical World

A Poem by Kimberly "Melody" Carney

Nature3

Under the oak tree, where my mind glides far from me.

I envision a world, pure of heart but not mistake free.

I see all the colors magnificently swirl and blend.

It beckons me to let go of this world I live in.

I gesture a nod of understanding and grace.

I cannot stay, in this wonderfully crafted place.

I must travel home through my minds worn roads.

Open my eyes, to see the beauty my world holds.

I see the birds as they fly in graceful silhouettes

They are free of burdens, they have no regrets.

The flowers bloom magically, without being told.

Within my surroundings, I see the wisdom it holds.

I shall bloom like the flower, exposing beauty within.

Fly like the bird, carefree not fearing a tail spin.

Our world holds so much wonder and magic inside.

My new dream is of one, where we are treating it with pride.

Melody, you are magical craft person of a fabulous place in our world.
Your melodious flow of words arrested my power of movement for sometime.
You are a great angel belonging to our world who can create so much wonder and magic in this mundane place.
Congratulations!!!

Excellent poem! I think the delivery was very well done. I could envision all that you wrote, and I have similar sentiments about the relationship between the world and the existence that is me.

A wonderful piece which keeps the reader back to reality, and to let go of the unreal dream.
So utterly beautiful and well spoken dear. Your mind is full of love, and yes that ending, pride. :)
