Thy keen-edged blade,
Sits naked in its sharpness
No armour can
withstand its strike,
Nor shield nor mask
withstand its glance.
With open eyes,
Thy gaze must meet
Its naked, blinding truth
Be not afraid, for in its grip
The sharpest pain becomes a gift.

I just finished reading your interesting poem. I love the aliterations and metaphors.
Your opeing line leads the way immediately into your poem. One can explore what each line means.. That is what is so great about metaphors.
In my mind...truth being the sharp edge of the knife...So again for me truth is what your poem is about.
