Watercolored windowsill~ Bhuyanshi Talukdar

A Poem by Bhuyanshi Talukdar

Watercolored windowsill,
As the rain delicately kisses the glass
I find myself lost in a swirl of emotions
The gentle hues intertwining
On this watercolored windowsill.

Flowers bloom outside the window,
The mountain breeze sweeps the frame
Their fragrant scent fills the air
And as I rest my hand on the cool surface
I feel a sense of tranquility
On this watercolored windowsill.

Time flows like a meandering river,
Leaving traces of memories and dreams
And as I gaze upon the world beyond
I can't help but be captivated
On this watercolored windowsill.

I absolutely love the simplicity of this poem. Their are such elegant phrases that resonate with the reader, but the poem never becomes so clunky with imagery that it borders on absurdity. My favorite line is 'the rain delicately kisses the glass.' It brings to mind a gentle, soaking rain that makes for a great day of reading in bed. You have a unique ability to express yourself. I truly enjoyed reading this.

You captured some wonderful imagery and scents while you paused in time to take in the natural environment and to reflect on memories and dreams. Quiet time. I find it both healing and uplifting. A most satisfying read.

If you leave your dreams and memories along your path, it will be easier to find your way back to the sill. Nicely painted.
