Ring of Tears~ Bhuyanshi Talukdar

Ring of Tears~ Bhuyanshi Talukdar

A Poem by Bhuyanshi Talukdar

Encircled by tears
worries intertwine like vines
constricting the weary soul
Tears like glistening pearls
cascade down,
their delicate droplets falling
upon the tender garden of my heart.

A barbed wire of anguish
stained with blood, soot, and ash
I tried to appear in front of mirrors
Approaching clumsily with my hands

When you utter my name,
it pierces through me
leaving me crippled
unable to mend
the fracture within

Regrets like ghosts
vanish into thin air
if only you would soften your gaze
and understand the depths
hidden beneath my fragile exterior.

Title and poem are worthy. Sad reality but true is what I read. Cry me a river as the saying goes. I hope all is well.
