too much

too much

A Poem by Michael

You know how to just make me tick,

Know what gets under my skin,

So playful and harmless,

Giggle with every word,

Where you see sunshine and rainbows

I see nothing but rainy days and harm

You’ve been wrapped in the blankets to keep you warm,

I have been laid out in the cold and the uncomfort

My armor is dingy and rusty form the outside voices and physical tool

You have never had to put a set on

When you see me

You see a happy kid

But inside he wishes it would end already

My escapes are no longer working like they use too

I feel the weights on my shoulders,

Making me crush the ground below me,

So heavy and leaving a unwanted trail

You see a watery reflection when you look at my story

The mirror trying to stay together

Only time someone takes off the weights

It's only to put a bigger one on the bar,
