Preaching Machine

Preaching Machine

A Poem by MelLo
"

letting go

"
Indispensable,
unforgetable,
unique one,
irreplaceable,
incomparable,
the one, the only...Me!

Thought it was a dream,
thought you'd wake up to more perfect outcome...
Now you say,
"Save me from this cruel treason I became to myself!"
"Without you, destiny ceases! Time stands still without our love!"
But where would you be without my hand?
Where would your path lead? And would you follow the right one?
Save you? Save yourself from your own actions that damage you...

I came to say goodbye,
though I will never be able to forget you,
your kisses are empty now....
It hurts to know that the one I learned love from
is now so depleted of any true feelings.
It could have been so simple, so easy...
but your ego, or lack thereof, couldn't allow happiness to enter
and so you lie awake at night, staring into the vast void that is your future,
thinking, wondering, knowing that it will be lonely
because you refused to let love in...
True love does not come often.
I said time and time again, HOLD ON!
How can someone love while hurting so bad?
But how can someone live their whole life hurting and not let go?
Destiny is within your hold, grab it!
Suffer in silence until it eats you alive or let go and live again.
Why get through life when you can live it fully! IN LOVE!
Why wait until you die, if you've been dead most your life,
not living, not loving, just getting by!
Wake up!!! Love, live, and love life!
Let your love touch others and make your life complete!
Love,
your preachy preachy machine!
Thanks!
