The Ex-FactorA Poem by MelLojust writing
Do you recall all the times I wish it wouldn't end?
Yet it all remains the same when every moment I've spent seeing more than was there and taking all the blame. I wish to forget and forgive for all this damage you chose to give carried me through string by string to an abyss of misery you named for me. I'm the fly on your wall that you can never catch I'll be your last misery you've let slip by. I choose to loathe you by loving you still a taste of your own insanity to change things up. You portray that cynic face to the world as if you've never done wrong, yes, always the victim to most. Oh, that poor boy, I can fix him, I can give him what he lacks! Don't be fooled by that devilish laughter and sinister smirk The devil incarnate had come to claim his prey. Oh man, does that trick work as we all play fools to the daggers of his weak, pathetic esteem where only lame attempts to feel better through others' demise, leaves him unsatisfied and ready to hunt! And the hunt continues, never to be done For lack of love and nourishment lie in that heart, as he treats his body, he'll do you worse So beware of this hideous snake! I have learned my lesson well to never allow hatred to keep me from moving on. Learned to let go and see him as he truly is. a monstrous child, a bad track record, a country song left on repeat: "so blame it on your lying, cheating, cold, dead-beating, two-timing, double dealing, mean, mistreating, loving heart!" luv, m. © 2010 MelLo |
