Life InputA Poem by M LamontJust being positive!
It’s a pity
That I am not the prettiest girl in school
And such a shame for you
To think it’s true
What a waste
That I am not the best dancer you have seen
I move and I shake like I like
But everyone feels it’s lame
So I am not an athlete
I like to run and play and have fun
But I am not the best or even better than others
And this matters to you
On the intelligence scale
I may not score the highest points, but not low either
I do have thoughts and view points
Why won’t anyone listen to them?
All these inputs to my life
Can be the proverbial weight of the world
But the strength it builds in me to knock them back
Makes a stronger and better me each day
