Savannah

Savannah

A Poem by M Lamont
"

She was a wonderful cat and a great companion. 16 wonderful year....a little something to honor her.

"

Silent but strong willed
Always there when you needed her
Vision focused through the greenest of eyes
A beautiful purr responding to a loving back stroke
Nine incredible lives lived through 16 years
Now above to watch over all who loved her
And knowing she always did one thing…made everyone
Happy

Wait, I didn't even get past your comment and the kitty pic and I'm already tearing up. Throw in your "desrciption", still not at the poem.... again, I'm tearing up over here!!! : ( Very, very sad.
OH there it is - the heartbreak. Yup, one read through my hearts-a-shattered! : ( Cat's are good friends, I missed mine immediately when I lost them, and still do. I'm so sorry for your loss. People tend to not put as great as an emphasis on the condolences when it comes to pets, but I tell you, they listen best and hardly ever back talk. No complicated messy relationship issues to contend with (depending on the cat!!) so it's no mixed emotions when we grieve them ~ it's all pure loss, pure heartache. I'm so sorry. Thanks so much for letting me know, I'd have been upset if I missed it. She sure is a pretty cat!
Much love, my friend. I still sometimes call out the dogs name, and he's been in heaven almost a year already. sniff They say when you die your pets rush past your ancestors to greet you first.
Sorry for your loss. Peace. >^..^<

I am truly sorry for your loss. I have a 75 pound Newfoundland/greyhound mix I call Puppy, even though he is almost 12 years old. He's beginning to loose his hearing, so I know I need to enjoy the time I have left with him, and I am.
I hope your grief heals soon.
Peace,
Anson

OMG...I didn't know! You didn't tell me! I didn't think to ask. Maybe it was easier to keep this to yourself for a bit? I know when my dog died I didn't want to tell people right away... tears! I am sooooooo sorry for your loss. Savannah was so sweet. I am thankful I got to meet her. May she be in happy cat vacumned often and then some heaven. This is a lovely poem!
