Alone Gone

Alone Gone

A Poem by M Lamont

Together in a crowed room

Together in my head

My together feeling

A figment of my imagination

Reality shows the truth of me

Alone

Alone in a crowded room

Alone in my head

My connected feeling

Severed from the mothership

Forced to continue on

Alone

Gone in a crowed room

Gone in my head

Nothing left to wonder

My consciousness has exited

Nothing left of the old me

Gone

*sigh*

You know... this poem illustrates well the repetition.. the.. way we think when we are heart broken. The same odl thoughts go around and aroud in out heads.. and we break things down and that in turn wears us down.. thank you for inviting me to read this. the poem of mine you read - it was me who broke his heart... and its him who is still reeling... I love him still, but can not be with him and its that, that he does not understand.

I am sorry that you have experienced loss of love. Its like death - it requires grieving.

I wish you well.

Damn them is right!!! Hate it when people linger....
Can feel the agony in this piece, very relatable.
