True Love

True Love

A Poem by Celtore
"

This one was written for my fiance, Michael and I

"
Sorrow consumed my mind
You found me when I tried to hide
A gentle hand touched me, so kind.
Now I hear you breathing by my side
I smile
Even if your with me for a short while
I watch her chest move up and down
I gaze at your sleeping frown
I kiss you softly, I watch you sleep
My feelings for you are no longer skin deep
They are deep within my soul
The harder I resist the harder they pull
The three words I have always been afraid to say
Come out so suddenly anyway
"I love you," I whisper.
You awake as if you were not sleeping and smile at me
"I love you too," you say.
My heart leaps and I feel fate claw at me
Wrapped in your hope and love for me
I now close me eyes
Dream of a start sky
You are mine forever and always
