I Feel So Numb

I feel so numb

Numb and filled with a void 

A void you can't feel till it's too late

Late enough for the pain to set in

Into my mind where it burns, I try escape

Escape into that very void

where there is no meaning, no order all just copy and paste on a canvas 

Death of an artist, an intellect, a nobody

Such a shame

Shame I returned

Returned mad and deranged

Deranged that I can't see the structure life holds 

Holds nothing to me 

Me left with the feeling of the void

Me left with the feeling of being numb
