Stand off

Zeon prime and Zonk were in a fierce stand off with battle cruiser and tank scouts pointing at each others galactic border. The religious mobs ran rampant in the streets trying to quell the utter chaos that was on both planets. Days going by and the stand off still fierce and showing signs on imminent escalation the high priest of Zonk and Zeon grand master had been shuttling missions to Zeon and from Zonk trying to figure out what the military is doing for it sure did not obey the orders of the high priest of galactic peace. These once proud brother planets have fallen  a rune in their relationship and only recently has things escalated by setting galactic borders and propaganda spread fear and hatred to the other side. Once helping and caring for one another they have become rivals trying to kill. Now all hope was lost both planets have set goals and one was annihilation. The soldiers were blessed and the war machines prepped. The soldier boys and all his support went out of the galactic border and started the war. No one knows which planet gave the orders first and what they had to gain from such a catastrophic order. The war started almost immediately and in a blink of an eye it was over, the ships asunder and planets only asteroids. There was no going back both planets have achieved their goal, killing the ones that helped them survive not so long ago. What a shame it was.
