UntitledA Poem by Megan SkaffThere is a translucency in the clouds that cover the silver
lined moon, allowing lining to be seen and the light to glow through, but yet
the clouds still hide something. Secrets, just as we as inhabitants hold. Some
secrets are felicitous, granting us the chance to revel in their beauty. Others
so dark, we can’t help but self-destruct. When faced with secrets such as
these, our characters are tested and whom we truly are within begins to reflect
upon ourselves. The moon, so beautiful yet so mysterious, is lined with all
our secrets. The translucent clouds the only thing protecting them. © 2013 Megan Skaff |
