When the Sun Finally ShinesA Poem by MKI wrote half of this poem one year and the second half exactly (coincidentally) a year later.
When the sun finally shines,
and leaves turn to see its greatness, that's where you'll find me, as the rays of sun come down to warm you, and the coldness leaves for lesser places, I will be there, with my arms open wide, waiting for you, to honor me with your presence, there will be the occasional cloud, and maybe some storms, but there is always a rainbow after a storm, and if not a rainbow, everything ends up greener, you'll always find me, just standing there waiting, when the sun finally shines © 2010 MK |
