The Trial

   The trial was something I was never ready for I talked to both my mom's and I desited what I wanted. I wanted to live with my Mom Emma. But my Mother Tammi makes big dessions and she can see me when ever I want and when ever she wants.

   Tammi's Lawer called me up to the stand. Tammi whispered something to the Lawer I couldn't here what it was but I knew what It was going to be.

 

   "Makendrie Lynn Gardner what is your....."
"My name is not Makendrie Lynn Gardner its Makendrie Liley Sarlon please call me by the name I want."
"So you want your name to stay Makendrie Liley Sarlon?"
"Yes."
"Ok what is your predictament about this subject."
"I Feel that what my Mom did was wrong and..."
"Wait who is your mom?"
"Emma Sarlon is my mom maybe not by blood but love is not by blood its about the way you are treated."

"Good statement."
"I'm on the debate team so good luck and I never lost one."
"Wow Im impressed."
"Thank You."
"So you feel that Emma Sarlon did something wrong."
"Yes kid naping is never ok it was for her own greed."
"Yes it was."
"But she never treated me bad and I love her so much."
"You are going back to loving her but you think kidnaping is wrong so what do you want at the end of this?"
"I want Emma Sarlon to go to jail for 3 years and I want my dad Jason to come home and take care of my family. I want to stay with my family and I want My mother Tammi Gardener to be able to have a say in everything I do and I want to get to know her better and She can see me when ever I want."

"That sounds like a good plan except for letting your mother Emma Sarlon only go to jail for 3 years. I would estimate Prison for 13 years."
"I'm sorry but do you see those kids out there Andrea,Baily,and my brother Luke. They all need there mom and I think that 3 years is enough. Yes what my mom did was wrong but you see she lost her daughter during birth and there was a lost in her heart and everyone who has lost a child and you see a family all happy , would you be jelouse? I know I would but I wouldn't ever still a child even how jelouse I was."

"Did your mother Emma Sarlon ever treat you wrong?"
"She was a mother and she treated me like every other child in the house."

"You didn't answer my question did she treat you well?"
"Yes she treated me like a child and that's all I wanted I'm a teenager with hormons like crazy yes I yelled at her for being unfair and I told that she didn't love me but over all she did she was  the best mom I could ever ask for and I know what she wanted for me and that was to be happy. She went out of here way to make that happen. I love her and she will always be my mom maybe not by blood but by heart."

"WAIT!"

 

   I looked out in to the audiences and looked around and I see Tammi standing up. What was she doing I didn't say anything wrong. What was going on I love her to well what I know of her. She was a great mother I could already see that and I knew she wanted best for me and that's what a mother is.

 

   "Stop the trial. Don't send Emma to jail. I can see that Emma is a great mother so don't send her to jail or any punishment. As Makendrie has said the kids need there mother."
"Wait Tammi." Said my mother.

"I'm so sorry I know that I should have never put you through that. I'm sorry."
"I am to I should have never took Makendrie that was wrong I'm so sorry."

"It's ok you were jelouse and I understand and when I was listening to Makendrie speak I knew you were a great mother and I don't want to take that away."
"Thank you."
"But I get to see you guys when ever I please right."
"Then I get to see you when ever I please Right!"
"Oh yes."
"Wait so my mom isn't going to jail and we can keep our mom?"
"Yes as long as I'm your mom to."
"You are." 

 

   I gave tammi a hug. She was truly a great person and a great mom and I know I will love her.
