The Little Girl Who Hides

The Little Girl Who Hides

A Poem by mand
"

"
Can you see beyond my fawn lashed eyes
Crouched in a corner, the little girl who hides
I'm everything you want me to be
A facade, a disguise
A beautiful woman quiet and refined
Wine colored lips, with a smile that lies
Here for your amusement, a passer of time
A mirage, a duplicity of separate lives
The woman you created and the little girl who hides

This reads in so many ways, the context so fluid and able to form to so many interpretations. Very beautifully done.
