The Red Shows

The Red Shows

A Poem by Primula Goldworthy

Drip, drop.
Drip, drop.
It falls.
Falls with surprise.
Falls with pain.
Can be seen everywhere.
To the low of the ground.
To the high of the sky.
All of this shows.....
It drips.
And it drops.
And it falls.
What can we see when it falls?
Pain.
Pain in none.
Pain in some.
Pain in all.

Wow. Love it. The flow is great...the words compelling and thought-provoking. Kind of runs a finger along your spine, leaving behind a shiver...but not in an overt way. It's perfect.
