To Be My Hero

To Be My Hero

A Poem by M J Moore
"

When I wanted him...

"

The emotion it fills me, from my toes
Up through my core, it pours
And radiates throughout my body.
—And I just want you to want me.

When I kiss you, I want your eyes open
I want you to see me and all that I am,
I don’t want one night with you—
One night would only leave me wanting more
When I am with you, I want it to be forever
So until then, I will wait.

I will wait, until I see me in yours eyes,

see me and no other,

No longer see that perfect image of me

You created in your head long ago,

that perfect image I can no longer

Live up to.

I want you, I beg silently for you with my eyes
I quake and I tremble, just to have you
You are a part of me, deep down in my soul
I don’t want this feeling
But it’s a craving I can’t satisfy.

Will you ever look at me that way,
Will your eyes fill with hunger for me
I want to know if it’s for real
Or am I just feeling this way
Just to say that I feel

Your hand grazes mine,
My lips are wet and parted
But I can’t continue if it’s not me in your desires
But how can I be your heroine
And not be in your dreams?
Until then,
You can never
Be My
Hero.

About
I want to be different some days. Some days I'm perfectly happy and content being me. I think in third person. I don't like to cry. Only 2 people can make me cry. I tend to strike out when I'm sad o.. more..
