Remedy of Compassion

Remedy of Compassion

A Poem by Mariah

The blood red ink on my lips stains your skin,
a cascade of sweet cologne as you slither by.
Grasp your jaw as you linger… gently, compassionately.
Do you feel the warmth from my cheeks?
Brushed against you,
softly, slowly and above all, passionately.
Skin, awakened by the night.
Glass with a flicker, it shines on your tender covering.
Slander me with warmth,
and don't leave me longing.
As you breathe-
Do you taste the earthquake coming
Hair lines the nakedness,
gripping my inner yearning for a quiver.
I need you.
Gleaming from beneath,
Promulgate the remedy of you.
