People Say

People always say, 'Don't look back',

'If you look back, you can't go forward'.

But I'm sorry, I can't do that,

I find it quite absurd.

What would you know about moving on,

If your past would always be ignored?

Sometimes people say ridiculous things,

Be mindful of whatever they may bring.

Take in advice and accept criticism,

But you should decide what's best for you.
