Contrast

Contrast

A Poem by Dupur Mitra

sometimes i think i miss my life
i miss my love, emotion and laugh

sometimes i think i am OK
i am all right now
and better
when i see
a blind couple is talking with each other
with laugh

Very nice ending. I would suggest, however that the last line be "with laughter" or simply "laughing." Nonetheless, this is one of those "I cried because I had no shoes until I saw the man who had no feet" kind of works that is always touching. A very nice, thoughtful and meaningful work, Dlupur.

Like this, the contrast between the poets feelings and his observation, an original last image - a good job.
