Forever His

Forever His

A Poem by A. Rose

I Love him and I don't know why

All he does is makes me cry

Why does he have to do this to me

To my heart he has the key

Him I've tried to forget

But I can't, I regret

I think I should give in

For my heart he is meant to win

The love he first did show

I wish he would again bestow

But all my dreams and my only hope

I have lost so I must cope

Will he come back or just forget

Am I his biggest regret

My heart is his I'm sorry to say

And forever it will stay

A very beautiful piece of how I USED to be.... a person who loved others, galdly and free. My heart was always stepped on, trampled and burned, and I knew that there was a lesson that had to be learned... Learn to love yourself first and foremost, and never give them anything with which to boast... And the most import lesson of love... is that the greastest one comes from up above.
GREAT poem, A.Rose! Inspired me to write one myself! =)

Love the sentiment, but the poem itself is a bit mundane. Not to sound mean, because I truly think you can do better, but the rhyme scheme is atypical. For such a feeling, you should dig deeper and present it with the ferocity it deserves. Although, "ferocity" might be too harsh a word, but you get the idea.

Wow.
This was very amazing.
It's sweet and seems to have come from deep inside your heart.
I enjoyed this!

Love is a double edged sword. It has the shadow of darkness underneath it. Only those we love can break our hearts... An Excellent piece or poetic art.

I thin I read this before when it was on your other profile, it's really good. I love rhyming poems the most! my favorite stanza is the third one, good rhyming of show and bestow.
