Love in disguiseA Poem by Mithil RayThe poem deals with a short story of dilemmatic situations faced by a guy when he used to feel affection for his childhood friend and vice versa. It comprises of phases how their relation grew.
Once upon a time,
A girl became my neighbour She was only nine, Given my friend request favour. The girl little bit notorious, And in looks, really gorgeous. Like a sword, she was mighty However, she was enchanting beauty. I used to see her every dawn and dusk, And, her company always enhanced my luck. But , don't know when friendship changed in love, Very quietly like the nature of dove. Now mutual feelings started growing further, But no one of us ever dared to tell each other. And so on, four years spent, Being only one-another's friend. Finally, a great day came, She asked me our relation's name. Then, in that fortunate year of twenty-eleven, I got the chance to shower my love rain. I made a proposal with great affection, Which resulted in her same sensation. Destiny using that above, Gave a chance to this disguised love. We are together also now, And our love is increasing somehow. So, this is a short but sweet story, About how I found my charming fairy. © 2016 Mithil RayAuthor's Note
